Work and Volunterring!

If you're looking for my professional CV, head over to this page.

I'm currently the administrator for a student body at RMIT called the Blue Light Collective. It aims to bring together students with interests in games from across all disciplines, including art, writing, sound and design. Members work to develop cross disciplinary skills, collaborate on projects and build networks with other creatives. Blue Light runs fortnightly meetups during the semester, game jams and workshops.

Bitlink is a Tasmanian company that's all about connecting people with technology. Their main ways of doing that are through consulting with businesses, schools and universities, working on innovative design projects or with their popular education programs.

I've worked with them for the past three years, designing and delivering education programs, attending industry events and managing advertisting.

I've also been a volunteer at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, where I helped to run a community hackerspace for working on tech projects, teaching and bring industry mentors in to mentor students.

If you want to check out what the crew has been up to, check out the Instagram images below, which includes some from Bitlink!

All the way back in 2013, I delivered a talk on 21st Century Learning at TEDx Launceston. It was based on my experiences in high school, including Minecraft as a teaching tool and self directed learning.
